The 7th Annual Hands on Jackson event was on Thursday, October 9th, 2025.
Thank you to all the organizers, volunteers, and donors who made this year’s event possible! Sponsors contributed more than $15,000, and over 200 volunteers participated. These groups completed 40 projects to help people in our community, including handicap ramps, deck repairs, pressure washing, gutter cleaning, yard maintenance and more.
Hands on Jackson is an annual day of caring where volunteer teams disperse into the community to help with projects that might not otherwise get done. Businesses, churches, clubs, and civic organizations form teams and complete projects ranging from building ramps to cleaning yards, windows, and gutters. Supplies are provided, and all skill levels are welcome. The event is organized by the Hands on Jackson Advisory Committee, which is comprised of human services agencies, volunteers, and businesses.
